This is my second pair of Hobbibear shoes - after measuring my feet and consulting the sizing guide, I ordered a size 5 (39) in a red canvas. They fitted perfectly. I decided to order these sneakers in the same size, but they've measured smaller and so I'll probably have to give them away to a friend/family member as I ideally need a size 6 (40) and I can't return these as I wore them on arrival thinking I just needed to break them in a little - I was wrong. In terms of the rest of the fit, feel and quality though, I'd be very happy.

They are very comfortable! Normally I'd go for a 5.5 uk size but when I used your measurement guide size 6 was recommended which is a tad big. My other Hobibears are basic style, they fit perfectly. I orded the sneaker for the slightly thicker sole. I'm glad to say that none of the flexibility is lost and comfort improved for walking on stoney paths. I like the wriggle room in the toe and flat connection with the ground, compared to regular walking shoes.

Great shoes. My first pair of barefoots, and I did a lot of research of various options before buying these. It was very rare to find barefoot shoe options with thicker soles and thicker uppers, which I wanted for more durability. In this way they are proper sneakers but with the added benefit of a well done wide toe box and zero-drop design. I am super happy as they feel very healthy for my feet and body. I am debating if I should have instead opted for the other Hobibear barefoot shoes that have even thicker soles. Those might be more durable and long-lasting but I like the less cushioned feel of walking/running with these, as it seems to train my body well. Shoes arrived on the 7th day of the 7-14 day estimate. Thanks

Unfortunately the shoes I ordered weren't suitable or a good fit, which happens, not uncommonly. It was the returns process that was most disappointing, as it took far too many emails back and forth to be given the return address and issued a full refund. The company seems very reluctant to accept returns and insits on sending unintelligible emails offering various 'deals' in which you keep the unsuitable shoes and are given a small discount off of buying more pairs! Ridiculous, frustrating and very offputting. I won't buy from 'Hobibear UK' again since they are clearly just a front for a Chinese company.

I am usually a wide size 8, so sized up to a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Wore them straight away with no problems, really comfortable and like the thicker sole as barefoot shoes aren't ideal for my feet, so this is a great way to still wear barefoot shoes.

I was drawn to your sneakers primarily because of their colour (green) and then I saw they have a wide toe box which I definitely need. I ordered them and they arrived about 10 days later, which I expected, and they are stylish and very comfortable. Very soft and comfortable didnt need to wear them in. Plenty of room for your toes to spread out. For me i just felt they maybe run a little small and probably should of gone up half a size but im not always a standard size 5 Bit generally very happy with them

I’ve always been a size 38/ uk 5 but realised that these Chinese made shoes adhere to a different sizing system where a UK 5 is a European 39! God the faff that argument caused. Anyway, always ask for the European size with Hobibear rather than the UK size
