I had been everywhere to buy wide fit shoes. I bought so many but none were quite the right fit until my chiropractor told me about hobibears bearfoot shoes. I didn't know what size to get as I'm a half size so based on reviews I went up a size and it was a perfect fit. My feet finally feel they can breathe. These shoes are so comfortable that I purchased another 2 colours as soon as I tried them. I woukd highly recommend them to anyone who has struggled!

I’m totally taken aback by these. I saw the hype on Instagram, and as my old day-to-day trainers (Converse) had literal holes in the soles, I might as well give these a whirl. Reader - I am amazed. I didn’t really notice my toes being squished before - it’s just so much the usual that it’s sort of background noise. When I wear these, my toes feel totally free. It honestly took me a day to not be acutely aware of my toes all the time because it feels so radically different. No wearing in period either - these were comfortable instantly - the cushioned heel and flexible soles meant I was off immediately. They had a baptism of fire - two days schlepping around Disneyland - the ultimate shoe test. I cannot get over how comfortable they are. I am going to be weird and evangelistic about these - I’m never going back.

Sizing is all over the place. I ordered UK size 8 which arrived as EU size 41 but really should be 42. The returns process was horrendous, taking daily emails for ten days to arrange a return at my own expense. Because of this, I would never buy directly from Hobibear again.

They are so comfortable. It’s like wearing slippers outdoors. I got caught in some heavy rain yesterday and my feet stayed dry. I really love them but wish they were more of an ethical and sustainable choice. I’d buy loads of pairs then.

The extra space in the toe box really does feel more comfortable, but they do take some getting used to. They feel quite hard on the sole after a long walk on pavement at the moment, but I did another walk in my normal shoes, and they felt quite constricting in comparison to the Hobibear shoes. I think I need to lose some weight first, in order to be lighter on my feet in them. They do look great!

Great. First pair I bought from Hobibear was my usual 8 but I found I had to size up a little. Got these in 8.5 and they're perfect, the sole feels a bit thicker or dense than my Fir boots from Hobibear so they're comfier to wear around for the whole day. Love the colour, and breathable material.
