I already own two pairs of Hobibear shoes and find them very comfortable, so I was pleased to find a brown pair of trainers, especially as a wide toe box is now a must for me. I carefully measured both feet (24.4 cm and 24.6 cm) and ordered a size 5, as the sizing information indicated a length of 24.9 cm. I was looking forward to receiving them, but unfortunately, when I tried one on, it was too small. On measuring the inside of the trainers, I found they were only 24.2 cm long. I contacted Hobibear to explain the problem and asked whether I could return them in exchange for the next size up. They initially offered a 15% refund and a 20% discount voucher towards another pair, suggesting I could keep the original ones or perhaps sell them. As I wasn’t looking to sell the shoes, I explained that I had ordered in good faith, following their sizing guidance, and had expected them to fit. I therefore felt that an exchange would be the most appropriate solution. After further correspondence, Hobibear agreed to send a replacement pair, which I’m now waiting to receive. I appreciate that they have agreed to this, and I hope the new pair will fit well. Of course, if they don’t, I understand that there may be no further option available. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my other Hobibear shoes, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this pair will be just as comfortable. 🤞
