Bought these following a friends recommendation for a wide fit and good space for insoles. Am in week 3 of using them as work shoes, so they’ve done around 60k of steps and all is good. They are very generous in the width and length for UK size 6, however they are proving a good shoe so far and are great for a neutral colour for work.

These chunky looking wide toe box trainers are comfortable and look smart. I don’t think any wide toe shoe looks stylish but these are not bad, you just have to embrace how much good they are doing for your posture.

I love the other two pairs of Hobibear shoes I have. I discovered these through a disabled friend after I had a toe operation. I have abandoned most of my other shoes and I was looking forward to receiving the trainers. Unfortunately the size 5 hurts around that big toe area, I should have gone up a size. I took the shoe to my local shoe repair shop and he tried to stretch it. To some extent it has worked, but I wanted to use them as walking shoes and I think they'll pain me if I have them on a long time. So sorry about it. Will know again in future to go up a size. The others models are fine.

V comfy, good value, fast delivery. They do come up slightly big so I'd suggested going half a size down on your normal size.

The wide toe is great for comfort. Unfortunately the sole offers minimal support and padding which is fine on smooth surfaces but not on stoney or uneven ground where you feel every lump and bump.

I liked these shoes; they appeared to be well made and I love colour. However, they were a bit too wide for my feet so I decided to return them. I was subsequently advised that there wasn't a simple cost-effective method of return and offered another pair as a replacement. I found Hobibear customer service helpful and my replacement shoes are perfect.

Thank you for sorting it an alternative to returning. The show are ok, one issue is that the right show feels smaller than the left. It's not an issue I've ever had before. I don't know why, but the shoes also feel chunky. Not my favorite hobi bear model but I will be back for more of the barefoot in the future
